LG Orders Dismissal of Two J&K Employees Over Terror Links

Srinagar,DD: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has dismissed two government employees from service over involvement in activities considered a threat to state security.

In an official order issued by GAD-JK as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Gh Hussain, a teacher in the School Education Department from Kalwa Mulass, Tehsil Mahore, Reasi, and Maajid Iqbal Dar, a teacher from Kheora, Rajouri, have been removed from service with immediate effect under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India.

The Lieutenant Governor, after reviewing the circumstances and available information, held that in the interest of state security, it was not expedient to conduct an inquiry in their cases.

The dismissals were issued through Government Orders reaffirming the administration’s zero-tolerance stance on activities undermining security in the Union Territory. (KNC)
