Kishtwar,TDD,District Police Kishtwar has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to combating cybercrime, successfully resolving a significant case and recovering defrauded funds amounting to ₹1,76,000 (One lakh seventy-six thousand rupees).
In this recent breakthrough, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit, led by PSI Moin Khan, tackled multiple cases of online fraud, achieving a recovery ₹ 1,76,000 (ONE LAKH SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND). These scams included mobile recharge frauds, unauthorized third-party app installations, deceptive Telegram links promoting fake Aadhaar card updates, and fraudulent trading app schemes.
Since its establishment, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit Kishtwar has recovered a total of ₹47,86,618 (Forty-seven lakh eighty-six thousand six hundred eighteen rupees), underscoring its dedication to protecting the citizens of Kishtwar from cyber fraud.
