PARAS Health Srinagar to Hold Free Mega Health Camp in Kishtwar on Sept 5-6

Cardiology, Urology, Orthopaedics and Gastroenterology specialists to offer consultations; ECG, RBS and BP monitoring to be provided free of cost

Kishtwar, Taking its commitment to accessible and quality healthcare beyond major urban centres, PARAS Health Srinagar is set to organise a Free Mega Multispeciality Health Camp in Kishtwar on September 5 and 6, in association with Tariq Memorial Trust, Kishtwar.

The two-day outreach camp is part of PARAS Health Srinagar’s wider healthcare outreach programme aimed at bringing specialist medical consultations closer to people, particularly communities that may face challenges in accessing advanced healthcare services.

Residents of Kishtwar and adjoining areas will have access to consultations from specialists in Cardiology, Urology, Orthopaedics and Gastroenterology.

The specialist panel will include Dr. Mohsin Raj Manto, Cardiologist; Dr. Younis Mushtaq, Urologist; Dr. Yawar Hyder, Orthopaedic Specialist; and Dr. Wajeed Yousuf, Gastroenterologist.

The camp will also provide free ECG, Random Blood Sugar (RBS) testing and Blood Pressure monitoring, besides complimentary specialist consultations.

“Healthcare should not be defined by geography. Our outreach initiatives are aimed at taking specialist expertise closer to communities and ensuring that people have access to timely medical advice and screening,” Facility Director, Dr Murtuza Habib, said.

The initiative also seeks to promote preventive healthcare and early detection, encouraging people to seek medical advice before symptoms develop into more serious health conditions.

“Kishtwar has a strong need for accessible specialist healthcare. Through such camps, we want to bridge the distance between patients and specialised medical expertise while creating greater awareness about timely diagnosis and treatment.”

PARAS Health Srinagar said its outreach programme will continue to focus on extending healthcare services to different parts of Jammu and Kashmir through multispeciality camps and community-based initiatives.

“Our objective is simple—to make quality, affordable and accessible healthcare reach people where they live. These camps are an important part of that commitment.”
