SOG, GRP & NSG Hold Mock Security Drill at Jammu Railway Station

Jammu, DD: In a proactive effort to enhance security preparedness and ensure public safety, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Railway Police, GRP Jammu, and the National Security Guard (NSG) conducted a comprehensive mock security drill at Jammu Railway Station.

The exercise simulated real-life emergency scenarios to assess the response and coordination of multiple security forces in handling potential threats. The drill aimed to strengthen the existing security framework, ensuring seamless inter-agency collaboration to safeguard critical infrastructure and public spaces.

Personnel from Special Operations Group of Jammu Police, Railway Police, GRP, and NSG demonstrated efficient response mechanisms, including evacuation procedures, crowd control, and crisis management.

The drill also incorporated advanced equipment and tactical approaches to effectively address various emergency situations.The senior police officers from District Jammu, Railway Police, GRP, and NSG attended the event, highlighting the importance of such exercises in maintaining public confidence and security.

The successful drill reinforced the readiness of security forces to respond swiftly and effectively to any situation. DD
