One Year Lapsed: No Update on New Panchayat Formation in J&K

Jammu, TDD: Over a year has passed since the term of Halqa Panchayats in Jammu & Kashmir expired on January 9, 2024. At that time, the government appointed Block Development Officers (BDOs) as interim Administrators to manage Panchayat affairs for six months. However, despite the lapse of this period, there has been no update or progress regarding the reconstitution of the new Panchayats.TDD
