Israel Carries Out Airstrikes on Iran’s Capital, Tehran

New Delhi: Israel has reportedly launched a “pre-emptive” airstrike in Tehran, the capital of Iran, after talks between the United States and Iranian representatives reportedly failed to yield results aimed at easing regional tensions.

According to reports, three explosions were heard in downtown Tehran. Meanwhile, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that Israel had conducted a pre-emptive attack on Iran, according to a report by The Times of Israel.

State of Emergency Declared in Israel

Before the reported airstrike, Israel had imposed restrictions across the country. Under these measures, schools, public gatherings, and workplaces were ordered to remain closed, except for essential services, according to reports by Drop Site News, as Israel has declared “an immediate state of emergency.”
