Ambulance driver arrested with heroin-like substance in Lakhanpur

KATHUA: TDD,Police Thursday claimed to have arrested driver of an ambulance with heroin-like substance in Lakhanpur.
As per the initial reports, a police team from Lakhanpur was on routine patrol in their jurisdiction when they noticed a suspiciously moving ambulance bearing registration number JK08-F-2247. The police team became suspicious and intercepted the ambulance.
Upon checking the vehicle, the police claimed that they recovered 2 grams of heroin (chitta) like-substance from the possession of the driver of the ambulance who identified himself as Sahil Kumar, son of Bhupinder Singh, resident of ward number 3 in Kathua District.
Later, the driver was arrested and FIR registered at Police Station Lakhanpur.TDD
