Rajouri, In a significant operation against an terror network active in the Pir Panjal region, Rajouri Police have arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

The arrested individuals have been identified as Zakir Hussain (son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Kotcharwal, Teriyath, Rajouri), Mohammad Azam (son of Ali Bahadur, resident of Kotcharwal, Teriyath, Rajouri), and Mohammad Mushtaq (son of Mohammad Iqbal, resident of Udhan, Rajouri).

According to the police, the role of these individuals came to light during the investigation into a terror module operating in the Pir Panjal region.
Preliminary investigations allege that the accused provided logistical support, facilitated safe movement, and offered other ground-level assistance to terrorists.

The investigation also revealed that the accused allegedly acted as guides, assisting terror groups in their movement towards the Kashmir Valley.
Police suspect they provided ground-level support to terrorists involved in several high-profile attacks, including those targeting civilians. An IED was recovered based on information provided by one of the accused during the investigation.

Preliminary findings suggest that members of the terrorist organization had handed over the device to the accused for safekeeping and potential use in a targeted attack.

Rajouri Police are now working to uncover the entire network, identify other associates, and conduct a comprehensive investigation into the roles of the arrested individuals. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
