VDG member injured in accidental rifle discharge in Udhampur

Udhampur, A Village Defence Guard (VDG) member was injured on Tuesday after a rifle accidentally discharged in the Majalta area of ​​Udhampur district. He sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

According to officials, the injured man has been identified as Parshotam Lal, a resident of Chor Panjian in Majalta. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment following the incident; however, details regarding his current health condition were not immediately available.

The police have registered a case in this regard, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
