BJP Will Expose Corruption of NC Govt, Demands CBI Inquiry: Sunil Sharma

Diplomat Correspondent

Srinagar, DD, Leader of Opposition in Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Sunil Sharma, launched a strong attack on the National Conference (NC) government, accusing it of deceiving the people through false promises and indulging in massive corruption.

He said that while Omar Abdullah and his government promised ration, electricity, and gas cylinders, what they actually delivered were crores in corruption and neglect of the poor. “The people of Jammu & Kashmir waited for relief and development, but were betrayed by a government that prioritised its own interests over public welfare,” Sharma said.

The Leader of Opposition announced that the BJP will expose every scam committed under the NC regime and will demand a CBI inquiry to ensure justice and accountability. “Those who looted public funds must be held accountable. The people deserve to know how their trust was betrayed,” he asserted.

Terming the NC government’s tenure as one marked by incompetence, corruption, and administrative failure, Sharma reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to clean governance, transparency, and genuine public service. “BJP stands with the people of Jammu & Kashmir. We will continue to fight for justice, accountability, and a government that truly serves the people,” he concluded.DD
