Leh, DD, Chief Planning Officer Leh, Tsewang Gyalson, convened a review meeting today at the VC Room, DC Office Leh, to assess the status and progress of various development projects being implemented under the District Capex Budget at PWD (R&B) Division, Khaltsi.
During the meeting, Executive Engineer Thinlas Zangpo gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the ongoing works, which include infrastructure development, road construction, establishment of livelihood centres and road blacktopping, among others.
CPO Leh stressed that the primary objective of meeting is to expedite expenditure against the allocated budget and to ensure close coordination with Junior Engineers for achieving optimum progress & monitoring of ongoing works at the grassroots level.
He also stressed on the importance of timely execution, regular monitoring, and effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure quality implementation of all projects. He directed the concerned officials to ensure timely submission of bills to avoid delays in fund disbursement and project completion.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer PWD R&B Division Khaltsi along with AEEs and JEs of the division.DD
