29 BLOs and 3 BLO Supervisors from Tehsil Sumoor actively participated in National Training Programme in Nubra

Nubra, DD, The second day of the National Training Programme for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors concluded today at the Conference Hall of the SDM Office Complex, Diskit, Nubra.

The session began with an inaugural address by Toufil Iqbal, Tehsildar Diskit, who underlined the vital role of BLOs in upholding the transparency and integrity of the electoral roll process. He stressed the importance of their responsibilities in ensuring accurate and up-to-date electoral rolls and urged participants to take full advantage of the training programme to enhance their effectiveness in the field.

The training focused on responsibilities such as house-to-house voter verification, additions and deletions in the electoral roll, correction of voter details, and facilitating new voter registrations.

The programme aimed to equip BLOs with the necessary skills and knowledge for accurate, transparent, and inclusive electoral roll management.

A total of 29 BLOs and 3 BLO Supervisors from Tehsil Sumoor actively participated in interactive sessions led by State Level Master Trainer Chozin Palmo.

An interactive role-play session was also conducted, where participants demonstrated real-life scenarios related to electoral roll verification and public-related issues, adding a practical dimension to the training.

Certificates of participation were distributed to all the participants upon the conclusion of the programme, acknowledging their dedication and readiness to fulfill their electoral duties efficiently and responsibly.DD
