Swift Restoration of Purnabahadur – Thandikassi Road by 58 RCC under Project Sampark

Diplomat Correspondent

Rajouri : DD, In the wake of unprecedented heavy rainfall, a major portion of the Purnabahadur – Thandikassi Road— an essential lifeline connecting several villages and Army posts along the Line of Control (LOC) was washed away severely affecting connectivity in the region.

Demonstrating exemplary commitment and efficiency 58 RCC under 31 Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) and functioning under the aegis of Project Sampark Chief Engineer Brig R K Mishra undertook immediate action to restore this crucial link.

Within a remarkably short span of time, 58 RCC created a 70 metre diversion ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for both local residents and security forces.

This swift intervention not only re-established critical mobility but also reaffirmed the Border Roads Organisation’s dedication to serving remote communities and supporting operational requirements, even under the most challenging conditions.DD
