Russia becomes first state to recognise Taliban’s Govt in Afghanistan

Diplomat Foreign Desk
Moscow: DD, Russia has become first country in the world to have recognized Taliban’s Government in Kabul (Afghanistan) after the expulsion of American backed regime.
The reorganisation Taliban Govt shows increasing influence of Russia in Afghanistan and region.
As the relations between the two counters grew closer, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Russia’s ambassador on Thursday, following Russia has officially recognised the Afghan Government.

“It would serve as an example to other countries, which have been unwilling to recognise a regime which implements a version of Sharia law along with severe restrictions on women and girls,” Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said, hoping that his country would get reorganisation from other countries as well. (AGENCIES)
