Rash driving resulted in accident in Majalta village, two injured

Udhampur,DD: Two persons were injured as a result of a late night collision near Dhemma Dhar road in Majalta. Accorting to eyewitness accounts, a Bolero load carrier, bearing registration number JK20-9365, driven by Bodh Raj, son of Shiv Ram, a resident of Khoon was on way from Khoon to Battal.

The vehicle was allegedly being driven rashly and negligently. Near Dhemma Dhar road, the driver lost control and collided with an oncoming Pulsar motorcycle, registration number JK08B-1748. The motorcycle was being driven by Vishal Sharma, son of Khem Raj, a 19-year-old resident of Garh Pamasta. Sumit Sharma, son of Mashinder Kumar, an 18-year-old resident of Garh Pamasta, was riding pillion. Both Vishal and Sumit Sharma suffered injuries and were shifted to PHC Bharnara for treatment. After the accident, a case FIR No. 12/025 under sections 281 and 125(a) of the BNS has been lodged at Majalta Police Station. An inquiry into the accident is in progress. DD
