More than Rs 19 lakhs looted from J&K Bank’s Dacchan Branch

Kishtwar:DD, Robbers have decamped with more than Rs 19 lakhs and Rs 50, 000 cash from a branch at Dacchan of Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
“Masked men forced their entry into the bank and decamped with the cash from the bank,” a report stated.
It is reported that the incident happened late at night and the robbery came to fore when the officials noted broken locks.
Accordingly, the police have registered a case at the concerned police station, and further investigation has been initiated.
Pertinently, similar robbery had taken place at J&K Bank’s Sarthal Branch in 2016. That year, the robbers had decamped with Rs 40 lakhs.DD
