Lakhanpur police seize four vehicles for illegal mining

Jammu:TDD, Police today claimed to have seized four vehicles for illegal mining and transporting mining material to Punjab without valid permission. 

A police team led by Tribhuvan Khajuria SHO Lakhanpur on the directions of SSP Deepika along with Naveen Kumar, DMO Kathua seized four vehicles i.e., tipper bearing ch. no.MAT448037H5B03189  loaded with Crushed Bajri, tipper bearing Ch.no.UE28B/39TTIP loaded with Screened sand, tipper bearing  No.PB02CR 9991 loaded with screened Sand and tipper bearing no PB02BU 9807 loaded with screened sand all these vehicles are indulged in illegal mining and transporting mining material to Punjab without valid permission. 

Investigation into the matter has been initiated after the legal formalities.TDD
