JKRTC Fixes Freight Rates for Kashmir Valley Fruit Vendors to Delhi, Haryana, Jalandhar

Srinagar:DD, Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Coorporation on Sunday (JKRTC) approved the freight rates per patti for fruit consignments to select stations.

In a communique, the approved rates exclude loading and unloading charges, which will be borne by the fruit grower or vendor. The rates are fixed as ₹130 for Delhi, ₹120 for Haryana, and ₹90 for Jalandhar.

The decision aims to streamline fruit transportation from the Valley and provide clarity to growers and vendors regarding logistics costs. (KNC)
