Srinagar,DD: The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Tariq Hameed Karra on Monday reiterated Congress Party’s commitment to bring back statehood, dignity and honour of J&K, besides ensuring justice to people, who have been pushed towards darkness in every respect by the BJP Govt at Centre.
He said this while presiding over a meeting of Coordinators and Districts of Kashmir province at Srinagar party Office in which Senior Congress Leaders, legislators and ex. Legislators were present and briefed him (Karra) about the organizational activities and current political situation in their respective districts.
The meeting finalized the upcoming programmes across Kashmir region under the movement Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq for restoration of complete statehood to J&K, which will be taken to block levels and to village level across J&K.

The meeting also held threadbare discussion over other organizational activities and resolved to start further public outreach programmes in every nook and corner of J&K.

On this occasion, Tariq Hameed Karra reiterated that Congress Party stands with respect to restoration of complete statehood to J&K and said the BJP Govt at Centre, which is responsible for chaos and confusion in J&K cannot and will not silence Congress, as that, the Party stands strong enough in its resolve to bring back statehood, which has been snatched by the BJP Govt aiming to punish and disempower people of J&K.
Congress Party under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge and LOP Rahul Gandhi shall continue to fight for empowerment of people of J&K and won’t rest till the complete statehood is restored, he added.DD
