Jammu Police holds Tiranga rally in R.S. Pura


Jammu: As part of the ongoing celebrations ahead of Independence Day, Jammu Police organised a grand Tiranga Rally in R.S. Pura and Arnia, showcasing patriotism, national unity and pride in the border belt.

The rally was led by SP Headquarters Jammu and attended by SDPO R.S. Pura and SHO R.S. Pura. Members of civil society, market associations and local residents participated enthusiastically.

Around 1,500 people, including children, youth, senior citizens, traders and residents, joined the rally carrying the National Flag. Participants marched through prominent areas of R.S. Pura while raising patriotic slogans and displaying the Tricolour with pride.

The vibrant rally turned the border town into a symbol of national unity, brotherhood and patriotic spirit. It also highlighted the strong bond between Jammu Police and the local community and reaffirmed the spirit of Jan Bhagidari and the shared commitment to peace, unity and the integrity of the nation.

Jammu Police appreciated the overwhelming participation of the people of R.S. Pura and urged citizens to celebrate Independence Day with the same spirit of unity, pride and responsibility.
Meanwhile, police organised another tiranga rally in the border village of Sai Kalan, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Arnia.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of around 150–200 people, including police personnel, local youth and residents of the area. Carrying the National Flag with pride, the participants marched through the village, spreading the message of patriotism, national unity and solidarity.
