Indian Army Recovers War-Like Stores After Foiling Infiltration Bid Along LoC in Rajouri

The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps has recovered war-like stores following a foiled infiltration attempt by terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir‘s Rajouri district.

The initial infiltration bid was thwarted in the early hours of February 19, 2026, in the Nathua Tibba area. Based on intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance, troops detected suspicious movement of terrorists and responded with swift and calibrated fire, successfully preventing the crossing.

In a follow-up update under Operation Jwala, troops from the Crossed Swords Division conducted a comprehensive search of the area on February 20. Heavily blood-stained tracks were observed, suggesting serious injuries to one or more terrorists involved.

During the search, security forces recovered the following items: one AK-47 rifle, two magazines along with ammunition, three rucksacks, blankets, rations, and clothing.

Operations remain ongoing in the sector, with heightened vigilance and firm domination of the area maintained by the troops.
