Indian Army Leads Students on Educational Tour Under Operation Sadbhavana

Akhnoor, DD, A seven-day National Integration Tour under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana was flagged off from Akhnoor by GOC, Crossed Swords Division.
The tour comprises 47 students and 3 teachers, accompanied by Indian army officials, aimed at fostering national unity and awareness among young minds.
The group reached Delhi on 07 October 2025, where students visited prominent historical landmarks, including the Nehru Planetarium, National War Memorial and India Gate.
Throughout the day, students received detailed briefings by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the tour on the historical significance and origins of each site. These briefings were designed to deepen their understanding and ensure lasting retention of the knowledge imparted.

The itinerary also included interactive activities at each site, combining learning with experiential engagement, providing students with a memorable and enriching experience.

The tour reinforces the Indian Army’s commitment to promoting national integration, historical awareness and holistic learning among youth across Jammu & Kashmir.DD
