Cybercrime Investigation Unit Kishtwar Recovers ₹10.26 Lakh in Online Fraud Cases

Kishtwar, DD: The Cybercrime Investigation Unit of J&K Police has successfully recovered ₹10,26,100 (Ten Lakh Twenty-Six Thousand One Hundred) lost in various online fraud cases. The operation was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar, Javaid Iqbal Mir and led by PSI Moin Khan.

The recovered amount was linked to cybercrimes such as:
Mobile recharge scams
Fraudulent app installations
Deceptive Telegram links targeting Aadhaar updates
Online digital arrests

Since its inception, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit Kishtwar has recovered a cumulative total of ₹82,77,195, reflecting its commitment to safeguarding the public from digital fraud.
