Jammu,TDD, Congress has asked the police to take stern action under law against the culprits involved in the alleged incident of attempt to cause bodily harm to the former Deputy Chief Minister and INC Candidate from Chhamb, Tara Chand, on October 01, late evening at his residence in native village.
Strongly condemning the incident J&K PCC Senior Vice President and Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has expressed great concern over such an incident at his residence Chak Malal on the evening on voting day -1st October when some persons allegedly carrying weapons, tried to enter his house and with intension to cause bodily harm to Tara Chand.
The matter was reported to the police immediately and to the Election Commission, however appropriate action is still awaited in the matter.
It is matter of great concern, he adding that the party demands stern action in the matter without delay.TDD
