UDHAMPUR:TDD, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting of District TB Co-Morbidity Coordination Committee here in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.
The DC directed the stakeholder department(s) to intensify and improve TB testing facilities. She emphasized the need for enhanced counseling to facilitate early detection and treatment of TB patients.
Additionally, she instructed the concerned officers to identify specific causes for non-tobacco-linked TB cases to implement remedies aimed at eliminating these causes.
DTO was tasked with ensuring close coordination with other stakeholder departments to eradicate TB in the district. The DC also called for increasing testing, and intensifying the awareness campaign on the prevention of TB.TDD
