DAVIE, FLORIDA : Rotary Club Miami Airport celebrated the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and service at its installation and induction ceremony held at the well-known Palace of India in Davie, Florida.
The evening marked the installation of Lalita Airan as President of Rotary Club Miami Airport, succeeding outgoing President Meghhaa Kumaarr, who was recognized and thanked for her dedicated leadership and service during the past two years.
The Club also welcomed two new members into the Rotary family: Dr. Awtar Krishan Gangu and Surinder K. Zutshi, Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir NRI Today.
During the induction ceremony, Mr. Zutshi congratulated President Airan and expressed appreciation to the incoming and outgoing Presidents and members of the Club for their warm welcome.
“Joining Rotary is not simply about becoming a member of an organization. It is about accepting a responsibility—to serve, to contribute and to make a difference wherever we can,” Mr. Zutshi said.
The gathering brought together Rotary members, families and community leaders in a spirit of fellowship and renewed commitment to Rotary’s guiding principle, “Service Above Self.”
Under President Lalita Airan’s leadership, Rotary Club Miami Airport looks forward to expanding its community-service initiatives and strengthening public awareness of the Club’s activities.
