IIM Jammu Concludes 19th NFLP Batch under MMTTP


JAMMU, The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu concluded the 19th Batch of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), Ministry of Education, Government of India, at the Vedanta MDP Block.

The five-day residential programme, organized by the Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, brought together 12 participants from institutions across India. It served as a dynamic platform for academic leadership, collaborative learning, institutional excellence, and professional development.

The valedictory ceremony was attended by Prof. Rajesh Sikka, Co-Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, along with Dr. Eshika Aggarwal and Dr. Bijoy Rakshit, Programme Directors.

Conducted from May 25 to 29, 2026, the NFLP was designed to equip faculty members and academic professionals with leadership competencies, strategic perspectives, and transformative insights needed to navigate the rapidly evolving higher education landscape. The programme featured engaging sessions, interactive discussions, peer learning opportunities, and deliberations on leadership, institutional growth, academic excellence, and emerging educational challenges.

Prof. Rajesh Sikka commended the participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm throughout the programme and reiterated IIM Jammu’s commitment to strengthening academic leadership and capacity building through impactful executive education initiatives.

Addressing the participants during the valedictory session, Dr. Eshika Aggarwal presented a summary of the five-day programme and highlighted the importance of visionary leadership, adaptability, and innovation in shaping the future of higher education institutions. She emphasized that programmes like NFLP play a vital role in nurturing responsible academic leaders capable of driving institutional transformation and excellence.

Participants expressed appreciation for the enriching learning experience, insightful sessions, and collaborative environment fostered during the programme. The valedictory ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and a vote of thanks by Dr. Bijoy Rakshit, followed by the national song and national anthem.

Through such initiatives, IIM Jammu continues to strengthen its commitment to fostering academic leadership, institutional excellence, and capacity building, contributing to the vision of a knowledge-driven and Viksit Bharat.
