Srinagar, (DD)In a recent administrative development, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has assigned additional responsibilities to Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS (AGMUT:2009), appointing him as the Civil Aviation Commissioner.
An official order issued by the government reads:
“In the interest of administration, it is hereby ordered that Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS (AGMUT:2009), Secretary to the Government, Science & Technology Department, who is already holding the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, shall also hold the charge of the post of Civil Aviation Commissioner, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”
Dr Choudhary is widely recognized for his administrative acumen and has previously held several key positions across Jammu and Kashmir(DD)
