Kishtwar, (DD): A damaged water pipe has led to significant water supply disruptions in the Marwah-Nowpachi area of Kishtwar, causing considerable inconvenience to local residents. The situation has affected daily life, with many households experiencing water shortages.

Executive Engineer Sunil Sharma confirmed that the issue was identified and immediate directions were issued to restore the water supply to the affected areas. “Our teams are working on the ground to repair the damaged pipe and ensure the supply is resumed at the earliest,” he said.

Sharma assured the public that every effort is being made to resolve the issue quickly and minimize the impact on local residents. The damage to the water pipeline, which serves a large number of households, was caused by unknown factors, and the restoration work is expected to be completed soon.

Residents have expressed frustration over the disruption, emphasizing the importance of prompt action to prevent such occurrences in the future. The local administration has urged the community to stay patient as repairs are underway.(DD)
