DC Poonch convenes Public Outreach Program at Mandi

POONCH,TDD,To redress the public grievances, the District Administration Poonch conducted an extensive Public outreach program today at Mandi Tehsil Office Complex under the aegis of Weekly Block Diwas.

Line Department Officers, senior district and sector officers led by Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal were present at the venue to address public grievances and ensure last mile connectivity.

The locals and those from adjacent Panchayats projected their issues and demands before the Deputy Commissioner. Residents highlighted numerous issues affecting their daily lives during the interaction. They sought augmentation of water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission, Road projects for unconnected areas, upgrading of Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Power, besides approval of left out PMAY cases, Ration supply and creation of other critical infrastructure.

The Deputy Commissioner assured that their concerns would be promptly addressed and issued on-the-spot directions for resolving the issues of immediate nature. He emphasized the administration’s commitment towards resolving the issues and improving the quality of life for the people of Mandi.

The program aimed to enhance public outreach, with significant directions given by the Deputy Commissioner to concerned heads to ensure the smooth implementation of development initiatives and the swift resolution of the public issues.TDD
