Training Programme for BLOs and BLO Supervisors Conducted at SDM Office Complex, Diskit

Nubra, DD, A National Training Programme for BLOs and BLO Supervisors was successfully conducted today at the Conference Hall of the SDM Office Complex, Diskit, Nubra.

The training programme commenced with an inaugural address by Toufil Iqbal, Tehsildar Diskit, who highlighted the vital role of BLOs in upholding the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

The session aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and awareness of BLOs regarding their core responsibilities in ensuring accurate electoral rolls and effective voter facilitation.

The programme included comprehensive sessions on BLO duties, with a particular focus on electoral roll management, house-to-house voter verification, handling additions and deletions in the rolls, correcting voter details, and facilitating new voter registrations.

An interactive role-play session was also conducted, where participants demonstrated real-life scenarios related to electoral roll verification and public engagement, adding a practical and participatory dimension to the training.

A total of 40 BLOs and BLO Supervisors from Tehsil Diskit actively participated in the training. The session was led by State Level Master Trainer Chozin Palmo.

Certificates of participation were distributed to all attendees, acknowledging their commitment and preparedness to carry out their electoral responsibilities with efficiency and dedication.DD
