MENDHAR,TDD, Indian Army today recovered a rusted mortar from near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar Sector, Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir.
The troopers were on routine duty when they noticed a rusted mortar shell and immediately, the Bomb Disposal Squad was called in defuse the shell.
Accordingly, the BDS members disposed of the shell taking all safety measures. Further investigation in the matter is on.TDD
