RSS Backs ‘Operation Sindoor’, Urges National Unity Amid Cross-Border Tensions

Diplomat Correspondent

New Delhi, ( DD) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today extended full support to the central government and armed forces for launching Operation Sindoor, a targeted military campaign against Pakistan-backed terror infrastructure. The operation follows the recent brutal attack on unarmed Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, which claimed multiple innocent lives.

In a strongly worded statement, RSS hailed the government’s decisive response, calling it a “necessary and inevitable” step to ensure national security and deliver justice to the victims.

“We congratulate the central leadership and our brave armed forces for the prompt and bold action. The entire nation’s morale has been strengthened by this effort to uphold justice and national dignity,” the statement read.

Condemning Pakistan’s attacks on religious places and civilian settlements along the border, the RSS expressed deep sorrow for the victims and extended heartfelt condolences to their families.

“The cowardly targeting of civilians and sacred places is inhuman and savage,” the organization stated.

The RSS leadership—Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale—called on citizens to remain vigilant and united during this time of national crisis.

“All citizens must abide by official instructions, support the army and administration in every possible way, and thwart any attempt by anti-national forces to disrupt peace and social harmony,” the statement emphasized.

The RSS concluded by urging the public to display patriotism through cooperation and civic discipline, underlining that national unity is the strongest shield against external aggression.(DD)
