Reasi: DD, At least nine students were injured after an electric auto skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Bissawali area of Mahore in Reasi district on Thursday.
Officials said that the auto was on its way from Budhan to Saldhar when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll down into a deep gorge.
Local residents and police immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured students to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Mahore for treatment.
Officials said one of the injured students, who sustained serious injuries, was later referred to District Hospital Reasi for advanced medical care.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation into the matter. (KNC)
