Srinagar, (DD): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed Mehraj Malik, MLA from Doda, as the new State President for Jammu and Kashmir.
The announcement was made by AAP’s National General Secretary, signaling the party’s efforts to strengthen its organizational base in the Union Territory.
AAP leader Atishi took to X to congratulate Malik, stating, “Heartiest congratulations on becoming the State President of Jammu & Kashmir.”
In response, Malik expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you @AamAadmiParty. I will do my best to strengthen and spread the party all over Jammu and Kashmir.”
The appointment comes as AAP works to expand its influence in the region, aiming to position itself as a key political force in the evolving political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.(DD)
