Maharashtra Tourist Dies After Falling Ill at Pahalgam Hotel

Anantnag:DD, A 60-year-old tourist from Maharashtra died after reportedly falling ill during his stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Official sources said that the tourist, identified as Mohammad Naseem, son of Mohammad Nayeem, had been staying at an hotel in Pahalgam when he suddenly fall ill during the intervening night of 27/28 September.

He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pahalgam for treatment, from where doctors referred him to District Hospital Anantnag. However, upon arrival, he was declared brought dead, they said.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (KNC)
