J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu delegation calls on LG J&K Manoj Sinha

Jammu:DD, A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu, led by its President Advocate K. Nirmal Kotwal, called upon the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Sh. Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan Jammu to discuss the welfare issues of the Legal fraternity.

In a detailed discussion, issues pertaining to the construction of a multi storey building within the court premises, allocation of land for establishment of a lawyers residential colony, oldage pension scheme for advocates and restoration of charges on vakalatnama were taken up, which were also presented to the LG in a shape of written memorandum. LG Manoj Sinha while deliberating upon the issues, assured, that for welfare of the advocates, their issues shall be taken up and resolved at an earliest.

The delegation thanked his excellency Lieutenant Governor for giving a patient hearing to them.

The delegation comprised of former Presidents of the Association including Sr. Adv. MK Bhardwaj, Adv. DK Khajuria, Adv. AK Sawhney, and incumbent office bearers Vice President Adv. Baldev Singh, General Secretary Adv. Pardeep Majotra, Joint Secretary Adv. Anshu Mahajan and Treasurer Adv. Rahul Aggarwal.DD
