Kishtwar, DD, An important meeting on the establishment and implementation of Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) and Business Help Desks (BHDs) under Mission YUVA was held today at the VC Room of the DC Office Kishtwar.
The session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan, JKAS, who emphasized the significance of these initiatives in fostering local entrepreneurship, financial facilitation, and business development.
Mamta Sudershan, AD Employment Kishtwar, JKAS, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the roles, responsibilities, and structural framework of SBDUs and BHDs. She highlighted their crucial role in supporting Nano Enterprises and MSMEs, thereby driving economic growth and employment opportunities in the region.
DC Kishtwar stressed the need for strong inter-departmental coordination to ensure the smooth operation of these units. He reiterated that collaborative efforts from all stakeholders are vital in enhancing the business support ecosystem at the district, sub-division, and tehsil levels.
The meeting witnessed active participation from key officials, who shared insights on strengthening self-employment opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures under Mission YUVA.
