Akhnoor :TDD,The Indian Army organized an informative and engaging lecture-cum-demonstration program at Army Public School, Akhnoor. The event focused on empowering women, particularly young girls, by equipping them with essential self-defence skills. The program emphasized practical learning, allowing participants to actively engage in self-defence techniques. Instructors demonstrated effective methods such as palm strikes, elbow strikes, knee strikes, and kicks to the shins. These techniques were complemented by emergency signs and strategies to escape and protect oneself in unforeseen situations. A total of 204 students and 7 teachers actively participated in the program, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that will contribute to their personal safety and well-being. The Indian Army’s commitment to empowering women and promoting a safe environment for all was evident throughout the event.TDD
