New Delhi,(DD): In a major diplomatic outreach following the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, India is sending seven All-Party Delegations to key partner nations, including both permanent and non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. The mission aims to project India’s unwavering stance and national consensus on combating terrorism in all its forms.

This initiative underscores New Delhi’s firm response to cross-border terrorism and seeks to galvanise international solidarity against global terror networks. Each delegation will comprise Members of Parliament from across the political spectrum, prominent political figures, and seasoned diplomats—emphasising India’s united front beyond partisan divisions.

The delegations will articulate India’s doctrine of zero tolerance towards terrorism and engage in high-level interactions to build strategic partnerships and diplomatic momentum around counterterrorism cooperation.

Leading the seven delegations are:

  1. Shashi Tharoor (Indian National Congress)
  2. Ravi Shankar Prasad (Bharatiya Janata Party)
  3. Sanjay Kumar Jha (Janata Dal United)
  4. Baijayant Panda (Bharatiya Janata Party)
  5. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam)
  6. Supriya Sule (Nationalist Congress Party)
  7. Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena)

The visits, scheduled for later this month, will include parliamentary engagements, closed-door strategic dialogues, and joint statements reinforcing India’s counterterrorism vision. Officials suggest that this cross-party outreach is poised to enhance India’s global influence on security issues and strengthen collaborative efforts to dismantle international terror infrastructures.(DD)
