Independence Day: Jammu Police (Rural) visited homes of martyrs

Jammu: DD, To mark the 79th Independence day, Jammu Police paid heartfelt homage to the valiant police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty while safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
Acting on the directions of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, senior officers, including SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma – JKPS, SDPOs, SHOs, ICPPs, ICBPPs, and other ranks of the Rural Zone Police, undertook a solemn initiative to visit the families of these national heroes across the rural zone including Khour, Jourian, Akhnoor,
Kanachak, Domana,
Nagrota, Jhajhar Kotli, Sidhra, Pargwal area.

During each visit, sweets and gifts were presented, and officers engaged in warm and respectful interactions with the families, conveying the department’s deep gratitude and unwavering support.

Families were reassured that the Jammu and Kashmir Police remains eternally indebted to the supreme sacrifices of their loved ones and stands firmly beside them at all times.DD
