Govt Warns Officers Over Non-Compliance of Transfer Orders

Srinagar: DD, The Finance Department has issued a stern circular warning officers and officials who have failed to join their new places of posting after recent transfer and posting orders.

According to the circular issued by the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, it has been observed that several officers and officials continue to work at their previous postings without authorization, despite having been transferred.

“The matter has been viewed seriously,” the circular states, directing all such employees to immediately join their new places of posting by or before October 27, 2025, failing which action “as warranted under rules shall follow.”

The directive emphasizes strict adherence to administrative orders and warns of disciplinary measures against those who continue to defy transfer instructions. (KNC)
