POONCH: DD, A minor child has lost his life, and four other children have injured critically after a landslide hit a Government School building at Kalssa village in Poonch District.
“The minor students were in their class, when a landslide hit the school building following heavy rains in Kalssa village, Bainch Panchayat near Poonch City. The school building collapsed in which one minor student got killed, and four others sustained serious injuries,” the reports claim.
Immediately, a rescue operation was launched and the injured were evacuated to the District Hospital, Poonch.
The officials have identified as Ehsan Ali (5), resident of Kalsan Bhainch, tehsil Haveli in Poonch.
The injured have been identified as Mohammed Safeer (7), son of Mohammed Shareef, resident, Kalsan Bhainch in Tehsil Haveli, Poonch; Bilal Farooq, (8) son of Farooq Ahmed, resident of Bhainch tehsil Haveli; Aftab Ahmed (6), son of Idress Ahmed, resident of Bhainch tehsil Haveli in Poonch; and Tobia Kouser, daughter of Basharat Hussain (7), resident of Bheinch.
