Udhampur :TDD, Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur Police arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered 06.14 grams of heroin (chitta) like contraband substance from his possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur.
As Per reports Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing patrolling duty apprehended one person for checking purpose from Omara Morh, Udhampur who turned to be suspicious as he immediately turned around and started walking back towards Sallian Talab side after seeing police team.
On frisking, 06.14 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance was recovered from the possession of the apprehended person namely Tarun Gupta S/O Ved Parkash R/O W.No 01, Gujjar Hostel, Udhampur who has been arrested on spot.On this, a case vide FIR No. 499/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.TDD
