Rajouri,(DD): In a swift response to potential infiltration, alert Army troops opened fire early Wednesday morning after detecting suspicious movement along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir.

According to official sources, soldiers stationed at forward posts observed unusual activity near the border and immediately engaged with a brief but controlled round of firing. While it remains unclear whether the movement was an infiltration attempt, security forces suspect the presence of terrorists attempting to breach the LoC.

Following the incident, the area has been placed under heightened surveillance, with additional troops and high-tech monitoring equipment deployed to track any further developments. Officials have assured that the situation is under control, and combing operations are underway to rule out any security threats.(DD)
