Army Provides Timely Medical Assistance to Injured local in Rajouri

Rajouri:DD, The Indian Army promptly provided medical assistance to Mohd Shabir, a local resident of Kandi, who was attacked by a wild bear in the remote area of Lower Margari, Panch Gabbar, sustaining a serious head injury.
Thanks to the timely intervention by the Armed Forces, Shabir received immediate medical care at an altitude of 12,000 feet, preventing further complications and stabilizing his condition until further treatment could be arranged.


At approximately 7:30 PM, Mohd Shabir was brought to an Army post by local villagers.
An Army medical representative immediately administered first aid, controlled the bleeding, cleaned and dressed the head wound and applied seven stitches.
He was also given a painkiller and a TT injection and kept under continuous observation to provide life support.
This prompt medical intervention reflects the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to the well-being of people in remote areas like Panch Gabbar, where access to basic healthcare is often limited.
The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for extending timely medical assistance and saving the life of the injured local.DD
