AIKS hails Govt Of Delhi decision on cash assistance to Kashmiri migrants

New Delhi:DD, All India Kashmiri Samaj Regd (AIKS) has thanked Delhi Govt for resolving a 18 month old issue of disbursement of cash assistance to Kashmiri migrants on the pattern of J&K Govt.

In a press release AIKS thanked CM Rekha Gupta and Cabinet minister Ashish Sood for listening to the woes of the displaced community in Delhi-NCR. President of AIKS Ravinder Pandita who had met CM Rekha Gupta and Cabinet minister Ashish Sood in their office in July this year with a detailed memorandum and discussed the income criteria, bifurcation of Adhar and release of AMR.

AIKS had demanded that the process of AMR should be on the pattern of J&K govt. guidelines and AMR stopped on this account should be released immediately as KPs in and around Delhi are suffering on this account.

The cabinet decision approved removal of all such anomalies and amnesty to Kashmiri migrants receiving Cash assistance in Delhi that has brought relief to about 1800 families of Delhi-NCR.

The meagre sum of Rs. 13,000/- per month for a family of 4 persons should be enhanced to at least 30,000/- PM ” Ravinder Pandita President of AIKS has demanded while thanking the present dispensation.DD
