Kishtwar, TDD,Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Sh. Phulail Singh JKAS, conducted a comprehensive review meeting of Block Mughalmaidan today, focusing on panchayat-wise progress under various schemes, including District Capex, UT Capex, MGNREGA, PMAY-G, and SBM-G.
During the meeting, ACD Kishtwar emphasized the importance of achieving all parameters within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality. He directed officials to provide wage employment to desirous workers and create durable assets under MGNREGA. He also stressed the need for completing PMAY-G sanctioned houses on a fast-track basis by ending January, 2025 and taking defaulting beneficiaries to task immediately.
ACD Kishtwar further emphasized the importance of focusing on beautification of rural areas and optimal utilization of assets under SBM-G. He instructed officials to perform their duties diligently, warning that any lackadaisical approach would not be tolerated. He asked BDO Mughalmaidan and other staff to be responsive to public grievances.
The meeting was attended by sh. Dheeraj Bhimbhadhur JKAS, BDO Mughalmaidan, AEE REW Kishtwar, AD (Plg),RDD Kishtwar, and other staff members.
Later, ACD Kishtwar visited and inspected developmental works at Halqa Panchayat, Rahalthal emphasizing the need for quality and durable assets with community usage. He interacted with local inhabitants, urging them to be the driving force behind their village’s development.
ACD Kishtwar also attended the Udyam Jagriti program in the block, promoting entrepreneurship and economic growth in the Block.TDD
