Kishtwar, TDD,Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar Phulail Singh, conducted a comprehensive review of the implementation of the e-MB module under MGNREGA. The review aimed to assess the progress of development works and ensure timely completion of projects.
During the review, the ACD directed the Technical Assistant (TA) to clear the pendency at T+5 by the end of the day and ensure timely clearance of muster rolls. He also conducted a work-wise review of the District/UT Capex with concerned Junior Engineers (JE), Technical Assistants (TA), and Block Development Officers (BDOs).
The ACD emphasized the importance of adhering to the finance department’s budget ceiling and ensuring that allocated funds are utilized judiciously. He also stressed the need for early physical and financial completion of works, with a focus on quality.
The ACD directed the BDOs to inspect work regularly and ensure that all development works are completed within the stipulated timeframe. He warned delinquent officers and officials that strict action would be taken if they adopt a lackadaisical approach. contractors may pushed to complete the works immediately leaving no option that surrender of funds.
