Police, Security Forces Conduct Joint Mock Drill at Amargarh Railway Station, Sopore

Srinagar, (TDD): In a concerted effort to enhance emergency preparedness and public safety, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with the Indian Army, CAPF, RPF, and Fire & Emergency Services, conducted a comprehensive mock drill at Railway Station Amargarh, Sopore.

The exercise aimed to train personnel for swift and coordinated responses to potential emergencies, particularly those of a terrorist nature. It also assessed the effectiveness of existing security measures, response times, and identified areas requiring improvement.

Superintendent of Police Sopore, Divya D supervised the drill and lauded the joint efforts of the security forces in boosting their emergency response capabilities. This initiative underscores the J&K Police’s ongoing commitment to strengthening public safety and ensuring preparedness to handle critical situations effectively. (TDD)
